Lisa Ellison directs Interdisciplinary Programs at East Carolina University and serves as Senior Teaching Instructor of Classical Studies. She has taught at ECU for over a decade and has led the development of ECU’s Latin courses, the only fully online, asynchronous language courses offered at the university. Ellison is committed to student accessibility, using engagement tracking tools to identify and support students who need extra guidance. She holds degrees in Classics, Philosophy, and Educational/Instructional Technology, bringing both a humanities background and a technology-focused lens to online course design.
